France, in Western Europe, encompasses medieval cities, alpine villages and Mediterranean beaches. Paris, its capital, is famed for its fashion houses, classical art museums and the Eiffel Tower.

Ireland is an island in the North Atlantic and second-largest island of the British Isles by area. It is separated from Great Britain to its east by the North Channel, the Irish Sea, and St George’s Channel.
